Andiwilson supplies bamboo solid wood flooring as a construction with a defined performance envelope, not as a universal hardwood substitute. The product range covers strand-woven planks in the 1,100 to 1,200 kg/m³ density band and traditional horizontal and vertical constructions, each with its own hardness profile and moisture response. Strand-woven bamboo is the denser, harder option, but it is also the construction where resin content and pressing variables most directly affect consistency; density and swelling data are stated per batch rather than presented as a single headline figure. Traditional bamboo retains the node pattern and a softer feel underfoot, but it demands closer humidity control and is not suitable for below-grade rooms. Installation guidance distinguishes glue-down and floating methods, prohibits nailing, and requires a two-part epoxy vapour barrier for direct adhesion to on-grade concrete. Acclimation is specified in terms of moisture equalization rather than a fixed number of days, because strand bamboo’s density slows that process. Andiwilson publishes these limits because bamboo’s sustainability story—harvested on three-to-five-year cycles—is only credible when the floor is installed where it can actually perform. The specification defines the conditions, not just the species.
